This shot represents the end of my Event Horizon School journey, as well as the first time working with water simulation. I worked on Houdini, first to model the Tsunami Wave, and then to create the Cusp Sim. Then I moved on to the Water Simulation, divided into two parts: Mist and White Water, both colliding with the buildings. I worked with more than 12 solvers, to obtain almost 200 Million Points, which were then converted into VDB. The simulations of Crowd (with models taken from @Mixamo), Car, Vellum (objects in the wind) and Destruction were then done in order. The building models were taken @KitBash3D, to then be fixed.
I then worked on Solaris to render the buildings with Karma XPU. The rest was rendered with Mantra, in renderings divided by elements (the water was rendered collaborating with the RenderFarm @GridMarket). Finally I worked on Nuke for the final compositing of the scene, working with Card3D and cam to integrate the CG with the 2D elements.
*I didn't make the Destruction SIM of the Palaces. It was made by @GabrieleUberti*.
